We're looking for an HR Truck Driver who's part road warrior, part waste whisperer, and 100% legend.

JR Richards & Sons are an Australian family-owned and operated resource recovery company contracting to over thirty local Councils across large regional areas of NSW and in northern Victoria. The Company employs over 600 people with a fleet in excess of 400 heavy vehicles in operation. We are at the forefront of the industry with purpose-built recovery facilities diverting over 100,000 tonnes annually of kerbside and commercial organics and recyclables from landfill. The Opportunity

We are seeking a suitably qualified HR Driver to join our teams in Taree and Forster. Applicants will need to be reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and prepared to work independently and as part of a small team.

Previous experience in the Waste Industry is desirable, but not essential.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Operate waste collection vehicles effectively, while maintaining customer service and safety for both the community and our staff members
  • Read and understand run sheets and mapping
  • Sound knowledge and compliance with safety, environmental and service quality requirements
  • Operation of basic computer interfaces.
Essential Requirements
  • Unrestricted HR Licence and satisfactory RMS Driver record
  • Effective communication skills
  • Solutions focused mindset to solve problems when they arise
  • A solid focus on safety
  • Strong commitment to exceeding customer service requirements.
