Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Hotel Maintenance Officer to ensure the smooth operation of our serviced apartments and hotel-style facilities. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartments, common areas, and building systems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
  • Respond promptly to guest and resident maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, plant rooms, and equipment.
  • Coordinate and supervise external contractors as required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs.
  • Support the implementation of health, safety, and compliance standards across the property.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel or residential property maintenance.
  • Trade qualifications or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general repairs).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
