Macquarie Health Corporation (MHC) is the fourth largest for-profit operator of private hospitals in Australia. We have 12 facilities located across Sydney and Melbourne. Due to an internal move, we have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Payroll, Time and Attendance Specialist.
About the Role
We are looking for a Kronos and Group Payroll Specialist for a dynamic full time role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will also be responsible for the management and administration of the Kronos time and attendance system
- Delivering and uploading the timely and accurate Kronos time and attendance files for all Hospital business units and related pay-impacting processes.
- Managing Kronos system to deliver quality solutions and ensuring that output is compliant with relevant legislation, EBA's and Nurses Awards 2020
- Assisting to the strategic direction of time and attendance capture and processing in line with business requirements including Pay Codes, Work Rules, Integrations, Interfaces, Advanced Scheduler
- Ensure Senior Managers have approved Timecards before Payroll processing is required and query any issues found in the Timecards with Senior Managers and work out a solution as required.
- Provide and confirm the final Payroll sign-off of the Timecards before export to Payroll system.
- Work with the Payroll and Admin Managers for each site to ensure deadlines are understood and Payroll can continue with next steps for the pay in Payroll
- Proactively identify and analyse top query types to present workable solutions or ideas, knowledge articles and self-service options
- Supporting the implementation of key system requirements and ongoing programme of payroll improvement activity in the process, people, and system changes.
- Communicating with and influencing stakeholders on all levels, as well as collaborating to ensure effective prioritisation of business requirements
- Identifying, resolving and/or escalating issues and incidents with the potential to impact pay accuracy
- Collect all payroll related paperwork from various sites for the new employees TFN, Super details, Banking details and employment related paper works if required.
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Experience in payroll processing, ideally using Sage Micropay Meridian/UKG Dimension platforms or equal.
You will have the following skills:
- Administration experience in time and attendance systems such as Kronos
- Experience in payroll processing, ideally using Sage Micropay Meridian or similar platforms
- Accurate data and administration skills
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Payroll legislation experience
