The Role
We are looking for 2-3 years experienced Payroll Officer to be based out of our Centre of Excellence in Leichhardt working in a hybrid model. Our business and teams are transforming and growing and will see you providing a quality Payroll support to all employees while working within a team. This is a newly created role to support our steadily growing Payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to the following responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of end to end payroll for 2,500 + employees on a fortnightly basis
- Assist in M&A (Mergers and acquisitions) payroll obligations.
- Assist in M&A transfer of time sheets and leave balances
- Assisting in payroll processing of end to end payroll for 2,500 + employees on a fortnightly basis
- Monitor and organise the Payroll Inbox and answer queries in a timely manner, help team with SNOW tickets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory obligations
- Other tasks/projects as required

Experience & attributes
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Knowledge of payroll legislation
- High level attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Highly proficient in Excel
- System implementation experience desirable
