**About the role**

The Development Assessment Team is responsible for delivering a high standard of advice to customers and key stakeholders regarding Council’s desired development and heritage outcomes, to achieve a quality urban environment within the Inner West Local Government Area.

We are seeking either a full time or part time employee.

**Remuneration**

$116,384.32 to $136,652.88 pro rata for part time+ 11.5% Superannuation

**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning, Heritage Conservation or equivalent related discipline;
- Extensive experience and knowledge in heritage related matters in the development assessment field;
- A working knowledge of Heritage Act 1977 and related legislation and also The Burra Charter and concepts as they relate to development assessment
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team and commitment to its functions to achieve outcomes that address current challenges for the IWC and its commitments to the community.
