The Leaders

Reporting to the Employee Relations & Wellbeing Manager, this role sits within a mid-sized, values-led P&C team that genuinely supports one another. The broader function is well-resourced and continuing to grow, backed by forward-thinking leaders who value capability, continuous improvement, and a coaching mindset. You will be be working alongside approachable, experienced peers who are as passionate about people as they are about performance.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on and varied Senior Employee Relations Advisor role where no two days look the same. You will be a trusted partner to leaders across a wide operational network in Australia and New Zealand, providing expert, hands on ER advice, delivering wellbeing initiatives, and building impactful training programmes that lift capability across the board.

You'll be working closely with managers coaching, supporting, and empowering them to handle people matters with confidence and clarity.

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage a variety of employee relations matters, including conduct, performance and grievance issues, ensuring timely and fair resolution
  • Be the go-to contact for ER queries, investigations, and workplace advice
  • Coach and support leaders through performance conversations and disciplinary processes, including documentation and communication
  • Provide clear, confident guidance on Award interpretation and workplace legislation across multiple sites
  • Champion health and wellbeing, supporting WHS compliance, mental health initiatives and proactive risk management
  • Collaborate with the broader P&C team to improve people processes and deliver business-wide initiatives
  • Make regular site visits and build strong relationships with teams on the ground
  • Contribute to policy development and deliver people-focused training across the organisation

About You

You've built your experience in employee relations within a fast-paced, operational or industrial setting  ideally across multiple sites, and you're ready for a role where you can step up, stretch, and see the impact of your work. You're confident dealing with complex ER matters, and your understanding of Australian and New Zealand legislation means your advice is always grounded and practical.

Above all, you enjoy working very closely with leaders supporting them, building their confidence, and helping them lift the capability of their teams. You're a clear communicator, a natural coach, and someone who thrives in environments where collaboration, variety, and pace are the norm
