Technical Security Consultant

We are seeking a
Technical Security Consultant
with proven experience in the defense sector to join a high-performing team delivering complex and impactful projects across Australia's national security landscape.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide expert security advice and guidance across defense and government programs.
  • Translate business requirements into
    technical security solutions
    , ensuring alignment with
    NIST
    and the
    Information Security Manual (ISM)
    .
  • Engage and influence a broad range of
    technical stakeholders
    , bridging the gap between security, engineering, and delivery teams.
  • Contribute to the design, assessment, and assurance of secure systems supporting mission-critical capabilities.

About You:

  • Previous experience working within the
    defense industry
    or on classified government projects.
  • Strong understanding of
    technical defense security solutions
    and their real-world application.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of
    NIST, ISM
    , and broader cyber security frameworks.
  • Eligible for
    NV1 or higher clearance
    (Australian Citizenship essential).
