We are seeking an experienced and values-driven leader for the Head of Learning, Leadership & Professional Developmentrole. As part of the senior leadership team and reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a pivotal position that will shape learning experiences, leadership pathways and professional development initiatives across our diverse workforce.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and implementation of learning and professional development strategies that build capability across the organisation.
- Partner with leaders to diagnose learning needs and design impactful programs, frameworks and pathways.
- Drive leadership capability through innovative learning initiatives, coaching, and development programs.
- Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), annual learning catalogue, and blended learning solutions.
- Ensure learning is inclusive and fit-for-purpose, meeting the needs of our Supported Employees, frontline teams, and leaders.
- Collaborate with teams across People & Wellbeing to align strategies in capability, culture, diversity and inclusion.
- Deliver high-quality governance, reporting and evaluation on learning effectiveness and return on investment.
- Lead and inspire a team of Learning Specialists and Digital Content Creators to achieve outcomes and foster innovation.
About you
You are a strategic, people-focused leader with a proven record in driving organisational capability. You bring:
- Demonstrated success in leading Learning & Organisational Development functions in complex, service-focused organisations.
- Strong ability to design and deliver contemporary, learner-centric programs that lift performance and leadership impact.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills to engage senior leaders and partners.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Adult Education, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Expertise in project management, program evaluation, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
- A values-based leadership approach that empowers others, embraces change, and drives continuous improvement.
