ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Business Systems and Project Delivery department is expanding We are currently seeking an Applications Specialist to join the team on a 12-month maximum-term engagement in our Head Office, located in the QV1 building, Perth CBD. Reporting directly to the Manager Business Systems Support, this position is responsible for providing professional system support to our staff, doctors and customers.

DUTIES

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Provide ongoing business systems support to Sonic HealthPlus employees, clients and partners
  • Work with our partners Sonic IT and external vendors to design, develop and support the Sonic HealthPlus solution ecosystem. This includes product, data reconstruction and user acceptance testing
  • Support and contribute to the delivery of training and implementation programs using varying methodologies including content development for Sonic's LMS, face to face onsite, or the use of online delivery technologies
  • Participate as an active project stakeholder in projects that require system change, including design, planning and education and delivery
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the successful candidate you will have exceptional customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and possess an aptitude for comprehending business process and workflows. You will have an aptitude for system solutions and enjoy working in a dynamic and flexible team environment.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience in a similar role within the primary care industry or experience working in an occupational health clinic
  • Previous ICT experience in the areas of helpdesk support and/or training
