We are looking for a highly skilled Applications/Content Management Systems Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our enterprise content management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance on system configuration, reporting, usability, and upgrade/patch pathways for our Change Management and Content Management systems.
• Collaborate closely with ICT teams to ensure system performance, security compliance, and alignment with ICT standards.
• Champion ICT and ITIL best practices in all areas of system support, maintenance, and service delivery.
• Engage with business units to design and implement effective user interfaces tailored to operational needs.
• Lead change management activities including the development of communication materials and change plans.
• Act as a central liaison, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among stakeholders and users.
• Serve as the escalation point for all technical concerns relating to Content Manager.
• Provide subject matter expertise on integrations and components such as SharePoint, Office Online, OneDrive, and document store design.
• Perform capacity management and proactively monitor system performance.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to key users to ensure confident system use and sustainability.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Solid experience working with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), ideally in a technical capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in Content Manager (TRIM is preferable).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• High-level analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to assess risks and solve complex problems.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, building effective relationships across teams.
  
  

Desirable Qualifications

• ITIL Certification (minimum v3) or equivalent experience in an ITIL-based environment (minimum 3 years).
• Previous experience working within government or large public sector organisations.
