ABOUT THE ROLEOur Systems and Technology team is expanding We are seeking an Applications Specialist to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. You'll be based at our modern Perth CBD Head Office in the QV1 building, with the flexibility of a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
Reporting to the Business Systems Solution Delivery Manager, you'll provide professional application support to our staff, doctors, and clients - playing a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly and continuously improving how we work.
DUTIESIn this role you will:
* Provide functional business systems support to Sonic HealthPlus employees and clients.
* Partner with Sonic IT and external vendors to maintain and enhance our solution ecosystem, including coordinating system and user acceptance testing.
* Contribute to the delivery of training and implementation programs across the business.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSWe're looking for someone who:
* Has excellent customer service skills and clear, confident communication (written and verbal)
* Shows strong problem-solving ability and a genuine interest in understanding business processes and workflows.
* Has an aptitude for technology and enjoys working collaboratively in a dynamic, flexible team environment.
This role is ideal for early-career IT professionals or recent graduates looking to get their foot in the door and build a career in service delivery and business systems.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience in a similar role within the primary care industry or an occupational health clinic
* Previous ICT exposure in areas such as helpdesk support or training
