Southcott is seeking a dynamic Hydraulic Applications Specialist to join our Engineering Team in WA. This is your chance to combine technical expertise with client engagement, delivering engineered hydraulic solutions across diverse industries.

What You'll Do

  • Grow and support a customer base within your territory
  • Design and recommend hydraulic systems and hose/fitting solutions (including CAD layouts and hydraulic circuits)
  • Provide technical support, field service, and commissioning assistance
  • Partner with Product & Sales teams to deliver practical, engineered solutions
  • Troubleshoot systems and ensure top-notch customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate on product development and evaluations

You'll work closely with the Engineering Manager, Sales Representatives, and Product Managers, with autonomy to make your mark and opportunities for growth.

About You

You're a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with people and technology. You bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Hydraulic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years' experience in hydraulic application engineering or technical sales
  • Strong CAD and 3D modelling proficiency
  • Excellent communication, planning, and teamwork skills
  • A passion for innovation, customer service, and continuous improvement
