About Reforest
We're a mission‑driven startup where technology meets purpose. Our platform helps businesses take authentic climate and nature action; integrating ecosystem restoration into their products in a way that brings their staff and customers along for the journey.
We are based in the Flight Centre global HQ building in Southbank; a great location with excellent facilities.
Why this role exists
We need a marketing and communications powerhouse to turn impact into compelling stories, help us lead the narrative on climate and nature repair, raise our brand profile, and to make our clients feel well supported and part of a great community.
Being part of a startup and a small team, you will have a huge influence on our trajectory and success. Initially this will require a fairly hands-on approach (with scope for outsourcing tactical elements). Ultimately this role will lead the growth of an industry-leading Marketing and Communications function within Reforest in line with the success it generates.
What you'll own
- Content engine:
Curate ready-to-go content packs for Reforest and our clients; lead newsletters, case studies and social. - Support client MarComms & PR:
Initiate and support our clients with content and guidance for campaigns, PR and other materials that help achieve their impact objectives. - Collateral & brand:
Manage creation of brochures, one‑pagers and decks; keep messaging and personas sharp and current; monitor competitor moves and positioning. - Growth & CRM:
Create nurture content and journeys to support our BD function; test and iterate to lift engagement and conversions. - Community & events:
Foster best‑practice sharing across our partner community; manage our presence and visibility at key industry events. - Customer & product insight:
Through your customer interactions gather feedback and contribute actionable insights to our Product development. - Digital performance:
Manage external digital marketing partners to drive website engagement and sign‑ups. - AI for scale:
Use AI tools appropriately to create and tailor comms content.
What you'll bring
- A track record leading integrated B2B marketing/communications/community programs (startup/SaaS or sustainability context is a plus).
- Strong writing and editing across PR, newsletters, case studies and social; confident briefing designers/creatives.
- An eye for detail, visual presentation aesthetics, and great interpersonal skills.
- Experience building CRM/email nurture programs and measuring what matters.
- Event marketing know‑how, from calendar planning to booth/speaking coordination and timely follow‑ups.
- Passionate about climate and nature restoration and comfortable translating data into stories that move people.
