Quality Assurance Tester – Financial Services / FinTech

The Bryk Group is an established Melbourne-based software company working with some of the world's biggest brands in the
financial services industry
. We are embarking on an exciting greenfield project and are looking for an experienced QA Tester with a strong interest in financial systems to join our collaborative development team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, designing, executing and maintaining test strategies tailored to financial software systems.
  • Building and executing test cases to validate complex financial transactions and reporting workflows.
  • Conducting acceptance, functional and regression testing with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance and security.
  • Deploying and maintaining test environments, including test data management for financial use cases.
  • Investigating and reporting issues, ensuring alignment with financial regulatory and business requirements.

Your skills and experience:

  • 2+ years' experience as a Software QA Analyst or Tester.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience testing
    financial management systems, banking platforms, or fintech applications
    (essential / highly desirable depending on preference).
  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile development and collaborative team environments.
  • Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks will be highly regarded.
