Architect
We're seeking an experienced Architect to join our Education Team in our Melbourne Practice, bringing extensive experience across concept design, documentation, contract administration, quality control, project management, and client negotiation. The role is required to work with Partners, Associates and other team members to manage the design concepts that are developed for a project and protect and sustain them through the project stages until the project is finalised. This role forms an integral part of our team and will require working collaboratively with others, together with a strong sense of initiative, accountability and focus to achieve our Practice's mission
'to design places where people and communities can thrive'.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Registration with the Architects Registration Board (preferred.)
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience, including work in the Education typology.
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, design development, documentation, detailing, materials, construction practices, and relevant codes/standards.
- Proficient in expressing ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, and in building effective relationships with clients, co-workers, and technical experts.
- Skilled in architectural and administrative software, including AutoCAD/Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
