We have consulting practices in the areas of Project Services, Cloud & Infrastructure, Data & AI, Digital Solutions & Platforms. We have a recruitment practice that hires our internal consultants and finds contractors and permanent staff for our clients. We have multiple engagement models with our clients, from outsourced projects/solutions to co-sourced teams of people to individuals. Our goal is to be the supplier of choice to large corporations and government departments for external IT solution expertise and labour.

We're looking for two experienced Senior Technical Business Analysts to join our team to work on a major transformation project.

About the Role

As a senior technical BA, you will work in the product team and work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements and work closely with the development team to deliver in an agile environment. You will lead assist in prioritisation of stories and work with the development team stay on track. These positions, well-suited to people with a strong technical background in data, integration, or applications development.

As part of the role, you'll also act as a 2IC scrum lead with the product owner, ensuring priorities are clear, progress is made, and developers remain focused. You'll be working with agile tools and practices such as Jira & Confluence, Slack for internal communications and Scrum methodology.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong background in payments, financial services, or other large transactional systems (e.g. banking, insurance, superannuation, gaming, payments technology).
  • Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements in agile projects.
  • Confidence managing prioritisation, sprint progress, and stakeholder expectations in agile teams.
  • A collaborative, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to operate as a trusted 2IC to your Product Manager.

Duration

  • Initial contract: 12 months, with likely extension or transition to a permanent position with Bexton.

Location & Working Model

  • Brisbane-based role with a hybrid model – minimum 3 days onsite in the Brisbane CBD.
