The Company

This is a respected South Australian commercial builder known for delivering high-quality projects across education, defence, aged care, community, fit-outs and small-mid scale commercial builds. They are steady, well organised, and have built a reputation for being collaborative, fair to subcontractors and supportive of their office team.

The Role

A mix of coordination, documentation, site support and hands-on project assistance, including:

  • Preparing, tracking and administering project documentation (contracts, RFIs, variations, submissions, reports)
  • Assisting PMs with procurement, scope reviews, take-offs and trade comparisons
  • Coordinating schedules, labour allocations and site logistics
  • Supporting site teams with quality, safety and compliance documentation
  • Updating programs, schedules and internal reporting tools
  • Liaising with site staff, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and internal teams
  • Interpreting drawings and specifications, assisting with shop drawings if required
  • Completing onsite measurements and supporting QA processes

The Criteria

  • Previous experience in construction admin, project support or site-based support
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management / Building or a carpentry/site background looking to transition off the tools
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Australian permanent residency required
