Mobile Oral Health Therapist – Schools & Childcare Services

Location: Sydney NSW. Travelling around 3-5 hours daily may be required for certain locations (travel allowance provided)

By partnering with schools and childcare centres, we deliver convenient, preventative, and therapeutic dental care where it's needed most – at the heart of children's daily environments.

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Oral Health Therapist to join our mobile dental team. In this role, you will travel to schools, early learning centres, and other community sites to deliver dental care and oral health education to children. This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously in a supportive and flexible environment while making a tangible impact on the oral health of young Australians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver preventative and restorative dental care to children in line with scope of practice.
  • Conduct oral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Educate children, families, and staff on good oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Ensure infection control and health & safety standards are met in a mobile clinic setting.
  • Report back to our Clinical Director daily

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Oral Health Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist.
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple sites (travel allowance provided).
  • Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and school staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Passionate about community health and improving access to dental services for children.
