About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist at LV Health & Wellness, you will:

  • Provide capacity building therapy and conduct assessments such as Functional Capacity, Sensory Profiling, Assistive Technology and Home Modifications
  • Develop and deliver tailored therapy plans, helping clients achieve their personal goals
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Work independently managing your own caseload, with the support of mentorship
  • Primarily work with NDIS clients, with occasional aged care support and private clients

What We're Looking For:

We want candidates who are:

  • Qualified with a Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experienced (1+ year preferred) and passionate about working with individuals of all ages with Autism, Intellectual Disability, Psychosocial Disability, Physical Disability, or Mental Health conditions
  • Excellent communicators, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong rapport with clients and families
  • Independent, organised, and able to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Mobile and comfortable travelling to clients' homes (current driver's license and personal vehicle required)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with OT assessment tools and understanding which are suitable for different client needs
