About Us:

Hastie Corporation is a small electrical contracting company specialising in [domestic/commercial and HVAC. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship, safety, and excellent customer service. As our team continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and reliable 1st Year Electrical Apprentice to join us and start their electrical career.

About the Role:

As a 1st Year Apprentice, you'll work alongside qualified electricians to gain hands-on experience in:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
  • Reading and interpreting plans and wiring diagrams
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools safely
  • Following workplace health and safety procedures
  • Learning industry standards and trade practices

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic about starting a career in the electrical trade
  • Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Able to work well in a team and follow instructions
  • Has a strong work ethic and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Completed (or currently completing) Year 10 or equivalent
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred)
  • White Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Pre-apprenticeship in Electrotechnology (advantageous but not essential)
