About the business

Atchison Trucks is a large family-owned business that specialises in heavy vehicle sales, service, repairs and maintenance. We have been in operation for over 40 years and consist of a team of skilled and experienced employees.

Atchison Trucks are part of the Daimler dealer network and specialise in Mercedes Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks. We are also a dealer for Penske Power Systems.

Located on the beautiful Central Coast which offers a great family lifestyle, only 1 hour from Sydney and Newcastle, located just off the M1 Motorway.

The role

We are looking for a Service Advisor with mechanical/automotive knowledge and strong customer service skills. This role is the key link between our customers (including fleet companies) and our workshop team, ensuring work is booked in, quoted correctly, and completed efficiently.

Key duties:

  • Acting as first point of contact for service customers
  • Scheduling jobs and passing on accurate repair details to technicians
  • Preparing quotes for labour and parts
  • Communicating with fleet clients and keeping them updated on progress
  • Preparing invoices and finalising repair orders
  • Assisting the admin team with general tasks when required

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor (truck or automotive industry preferred)
  • Mechanical/automotive knowledge (trade background valued but not essential)
  • Confident with quoting and invoicing
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills with customers and workshop staff
  • Computer skills (Excel, Outlook)
  • Organised and reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team
