We're working with a leading technology-driven organisation seeking a Platform Engineer to help evolve their cloud infrastructure and support continuous delivery across multiple environments. 

You'll be working in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment within a larger organisation, where your input and expertise will genuinely shape the platform and tooling landscape. 

  • Contract: 12 months (initial, with extensions)
  • Location: Sydney / Hybrid (2 days in the office per week)
  • Rate: $1000-$1050 inclusive of super
  • Start Date: ASAP (2 weeks acceptable)

What You'll Do

  • Design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment pipelines and reliability.
  • Implement and optimise monitoring and observability using Dynatrace and related tools.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support operational excellence.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Familiarity with Dynatrace for monitoring and performance management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation.
  • Experience with GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure environments
  • CI/CD pipeline development and automation experience.
  • Background in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
