Role Description

We are hiring a
Senior AWS Cloud Engineer (Terraform)
for a
1-Month, Remote, Part-Time Project
.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    AWS cloud infrastructure
    using
    Terraform (IaC)
  • Build and manage Serverless AWS architectures
    (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, etc.)
  • Configure and optimize
    databases (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Manage and secure Linux-based systems
    when needed
  • Implement
    cloud security and performance best practices
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate serverless solutions into existing workflows

Qualifications
Core Skills

  • Terraform
    (Infrastructure as Code – advanced)
  • AWS Well-Architected Framework
    (security, reliability, performance, cost, operational excellence)
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Security & Compliance
    (IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, Config, Security Hub)
  • Linux Administration
    (automation, scripting, optimization)
  • Databases:
    RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, ElastiCache

Serverless AWS Expertise

  • Compute:
    AWS Lambda (advanced, event-driven design)
  • API & Routing:
    API Gateway (REST & WebSocket APIs)
  • Event-driven architecture:
    EventBridge, SNS, SQS, Step Functions
  • Authentication & Authorization:
    Cognito, IAM, STS, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store
  • Data & Storage:
    DynamoDB (advanced design, global tables, streams), S3, AppConfig
  • Monitoring & Logging:
    CloudWatch Logs, CloudTrail, X-Ray, AWS Config
  • Deployment & CI/CD:
    SAM, CDK, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, GitHub/GitLab integration

Additional Skills

  • Proficiency in
    Software Development & Infrastructure Management
  • Strong understanding of Networking
    (VPC, subnets, load balancers, Route53)
  • Familiarity with
    Containers
    (ECS/Fargate/EKS) as a complement to serverless
  • Excellent
    problem-solving skills
    and attention to detail
  • Ability to work
    independently and remotely
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
    or
    AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
    are a plus
