Our client is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to help build and optimize their cloud infrastructure following a major migration program. This is a hands-on engineering role with long-term stability and the opportunity to shape enterprise-grade cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize AWS environments across multiple cloud projects
  • Lead the setup of core services including ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
  • Automate deployments and workflows using Bash, Python, PowerShell, and Terraform
  • Manage and secure environments across Linux (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, RHEL) and Windows Server
  • Ensure compliance and security using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Security Hub, AWS Organisations, SCPs

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with deep AWS expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools
  • Proven experience in security, compliance, and DevOps practices
  • AWS certifications are highly regarded
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
