Ocean and Air Cargo Services Brisbane requires an additional forklift store person in its 3PL warehouse operation in Hemmant.

This position will be a permanent role following a probation period.

Role

The positions will include a range of yard and warehouse activities including forklift, high reach and store work. Activities would include the unloading of trucks and containers, scanning and placing product into the warehouse racking, picking packing and preparing orders, loading of delivery vehicles and stock control activities. Picking packing and some unpacking will include both forklift and manual lifting work.

ESSENTIAL

  • A current forklift license
  • Warehousing experience
  • Demonstrated previous experience in a manual handling position
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team

DESIRABLE

  • High reach experience
  • Manual Handling training and or experience
  • Capacity to perform packing tasks

DUTIES

  • Carry out warehousing duties in designated areas as directed
  • This position will at times involve lifting, packing, wrapping strapping, palletising and crating as required
  • Carry out clean up and sundry cleaning tasks as required
  • Carry out other duties that are within the limits of your skills, competence and ability as required
  • Work safely and promote safety
