About the Role

Recycal is seeking Heavy ridged driver to join our team in Hemmant, QLD 4174. As a Yard Hand, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our recycling facility, ensuring the efficient handling, transportation, and organisation of materials. This is a full-time position that offers a stable and rewarding career in the growing recycling industry.

What You'll Be Doing:


• Assisting with the loading and transportation of processed materials to customers


• Driving company vehicles to deliver or collect materials from local and regional sites


• Safely operating heavy rigid (HR) for scheduled pickups and drop-offs


• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the yard and surrounding areas


• Operating forklifts and other machinery as required


• Collaborating with the wider team to optimise yard operations


• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What We're Looking For:


• Experience working in a similar yard or warehouse environment


• Proficiency in the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment


• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety


• Strong teamwork and communication skills


• A valid HR driver's licence is essential


• Ability to work independently when completing deliveries or pickups
