Origin Fencing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Truck Driver / Factory Worker to join our growing team in Brisbane, Queensland. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in both  the delivery and manufacturing of supplies for our fencing installations on major construction sites around Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine coasts. You will adhere to WH&S procedures, ensure safe and timely deliveries, maintain cleanliness in the vehicles and work areas, and provide quality workmanship and excellent communication between the warehouse and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a company truck for the transportation of fencing materials and supplies.
  • Safely operate factory machinery including pipe benders, drill press, crimpers etc
  • Help to load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
  • Ensure vehicles and work areas are clean and organised.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors and other staff to ensure satisfaction with each task

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license HR preferred
  • Construction industry white card
  • Experience in truck driving, loading and unloading, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Current high Risk Forklift ticket
  • Experience with warehouse manufacturing
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 15 kg).
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail .
  • A safety-first mindset, with an ability to follow protocols and procedures.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of fencing materials and related supplies is a plus.
  • Experience with flatbed trucks or trucks with specialised equipment.
  • Experience with factory machinery.
  • Prior experience with on-site deliveries and job site coordination.
