About the Role

Perkins Builders is now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team in Perth to work on Commercial Construction sites across the Perth Metro region.  In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high quality.  You must have Commercial Construction experience working on projects with a project range of $20m - $50m.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing all site safety and ensuring staff and contractors comply to HSE standards.
  • Supervising the construction process through to final handover, making sure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and to a high quality, whilst adhering to statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Programming and coordination of sub-contractors, suppliers and material delivery required to carry out the construction process.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the site teams, including staff, sub-contractors and suppliers as well as Client's representatives and consultant teams.
  • Interpreting drawings and specifications for projects.
  • Sourcing of labour for relevant sites and effectively supervising the labour.
  • Be responsible for the checking and accuracy of dimensional measurements, both horizontal and vertical, of all structures.
  • Responsible for the procurement of supplies and equipment, the regular maintenance of plant equipment and the overall security of the site.
  • Complete the preparation and submission of required reporting and attending all site meetings as required.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager on Commercial Construction industry projects.
  • A Trade Qualification or a tertiary qualification in Building & Construction.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A sound knowledge of HSE legislative requirements.
  • Strong people management and leadership abilities.
  • Current Drivers Licence, White Card and First Aid Certificate
