Branch Assistant

As a Branch Assistant/Trade Counter Sales, you'll be the first point of contact for retail and trade customers, guiding them through product selections, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring they receive top-notch service. Your role will be a mix of customer interaction, sales support, and relationship management. 

This is a full-time role based in Thomastown Vic. 

Your responsibilities:

• You'll be one of the main faces our customers see, so great service and friendly interactions are a must.

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Promote and recommend products.

• Keep shelves stocked and merchandise displayed.

• You'll help process orders, prepare quotes, and support the team.

• You'll occasionally be out on the road, delivering goods safely and efficiently to our local customers – with a smile.
• You'll also assist with order management to ensure everything is ready to go when it's delivery time.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Industry Experience: Plumbing industry experience or knowledge of plumbing products or wholesale/trade sales experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Consultative Sales Skills: You should be comfortable engaging with customers and providing tailored recommendations.
• Team Player Attitude: We value hard-working, adaptable team members who contribute to a positive work culture.
• Strong Communication: You'll be working closely with experienced tradespeople who expect efficient, knowledgeable service.
• Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence: Holding a valid driver's licence is a requirement, holding a forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
