Data Entry/ Counter Sales (Warehouse Environment)

ESP Recruitment has an excellent career opportunity available for a counter sales person with strong data entry experience.

Please note this is a Casual -position working 38 hours per week; with the view of permanency for the right person. (Please only apply if you have full working rights in Australia and are sincerely seeking long term employment)

Duties include:

  • Accurate data entry onto company system
  • Liaise regularly with sales staff to co ordinate sales orders, deliveries and other information as required
  • Inform customers of new products, special promotions and company policies affecting the business relationship
  • Greeting customers and taking orders
  • Processing payments for goods
  • Assisting customers with queries and providing outstanding customer service and solutions quickly
  • Counter & phone sales
  • Customer Service over the phone and F2F -This is a strong customer client facing role
  • Quotations and data entry
  • Assisting in the smooth operation of the branch
  • Answering phone calls
  • Perform functions relating to receipts, storage and dispatch of goods
  • Other responsibilities as directed by Branch Supervisor

Some of the skills required are

  • Forklift license highly regarded but not essential
  • Previous experience in a customer service position
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong computer skills with experience on various software to accurately dispatch orders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge in counter sales processes
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Self-motivated with excellent work ethic
  • Safety Focused
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn and work in a Team environment is essential
