Gourmaniais a proudly WA-owned company with 40 years experience in food manufacturing and is a leading producer and distributor of premium food products. We offer an extensive range of component food products and ready-to-eat meals suitable for food service, food manufacturing, export, and retail applications across a customer base that is local, national and international. Gourmania has a well-established relationship with the WA Government; being one of the largest contracted suppliers of pre-prepared food to WA public hospitals.
About the role
Reporting to Management, your main responsibilities will include:
• Day to day operations with high volume cooking
• Following recipes, procedures and product specifications
• Work and operate to the standards of a SQF Certified Facility
• Have a good understanding and adherence to HACCP and GMP
• Report any equipment issues, safety hazards or unsafe practices to your supervisor
• Have knowledge of operating Ovens and various kitchen equipment
• Possess a positive attitude and be able to work with a variety of different people efficiently and effectively
About you
- Previous experience in cooking/chefing
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the position.
- Ability to work autonomously while supporting and being a part of a team.
- Good team worker
