About this opportunity

We are seeking experienced HC Float Driver/ Operator to deliver heavy plant and earthmoving equipment from our Depot in Laverton North to client sites around Melbourne CBD and regional Victoria.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Heavy Combination License (minimum requirement)
  • Heavy Plant/Machinery tickets (required)
  • Construction Industry Induction (White Card) (required)
  • Experience loading, unloading and restraining heavy earthmoving equipment / plant (Hi-Rail and non-hi-rail)
  • Experience driving Inner City highly desirable
  • Know and comply with the requirements of the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations including Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management
  • Compliance to ZERO BAC and Drug & Alcohol
  • Your own reliable transport to get to work on time
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Be able to get along well with others and to follow instructions from management
  • Rail Industry Worker Card (advantageous)
  • Load and Unload Ticket/Competencies (advantageous)
  • Load Restraint Ticket/Competencies (advantageous)
