School Swimming Administration Support Officer

  • 2x Temporary Full-Time for 18 months with the possibility of extension
  • Located in Arncliffe West (Turrella) with flexible working arrangements available
  • Clerk Grade 3/4 salary range $84,659 to $92,701

  • Coordinate School Swimming and Water Safety statewide schedules
  • Process routine purchases and payments in line with policy
  • Liaise with councils, venues and industry partners
  • Support casual teaching staff engagement and onboarding
  • Use departmental systems to lift efficiency and service

The School Swimming Administration Support Officer coordinates the School Swimming and Water Safety Program for either northern or southern NSW, supporting safe, inclusive delivery aligned to department policy and aquatics standards.

About you –

  • Know aquatics standards for school-aged children and staff
  • Use online management and administrative systems to manage data, records, payments
  • Deliver responsive service to schools and aquatics partners
  • Plan and prioritise work to meet tight timeframes
  • Promote equitable access for schools to services across all locations
  • Have knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Paid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Valid NSW driver licence.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
