Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour + Super + Overtime + $27/day Travel Allowance

About the Role: TRS Resourcing actively seeks trade-qualified Prime Mover and Trailer Mechanics to join our client's workshop team in Melbourne's western suburbs.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet, including Prime Mover and Fuel Tanker Trailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct general servicing of Prime Movers and Fuel Tankers in line with manufacturer schedules.
  • Rebuild suspension systems, brake components, and trailer axles
  • Perform comprehensive trailer inspections
  • Diagnose and service engine issues on Prime Movers, including breakdowns
  • Maintain accurate documentation for each workshop task.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in servicing and repairing trailer equipment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in component rebuilding
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Competence in using computer systems for job tracking and updates

Essential Requirements

  • Trade qualification in Mechanics
  • Legal right to work in Australia
  • Current residency in Melbourne, Victoria
  • Own set of tools
  • Two professional references from previous employers
  • Forklift license (preferred but not mandatory)
