Minus 1 Refrigerated Transport are a proudly owned and operated family business with more than 35 years of service. We move temperature sensitive freight all over Australia for some of the country's most well-known and household brands.

With more than 90 prime movers, over 150 trailers, and more than 50 vans and rigids, we take great pride in our fleet With depot's in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, we have our Head Office and on-site workshop at our Dandenong South site.

We're looking for enthusiastic professionals to come on board and provide the high quality maintenance and servicing of our fleet.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Performing inspections and assessments on vehicles, trailers and other equipment and complete required documentation
  • Perform major/minor servicing and repairs of our prime movers, trailers, rigids and vans, including field servicing and breakdowns as required
  • Be confident to provide support and guidance remotely to any driver that required assistance due to breakdown
  • Manage stock of spare parts and replacement items as required
  • Safety is everyone's responsibility. Maintain, drive and encourage a safe work environment, leading by example at all times.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Diesel Mechanic qualifications
  • Experience with vehicle and plant servicing
  • Understanding of safety principles, driving a safe workplace
  • Reliable and punctual, with a positive can-do attitude
  • A collaborative nature, willing to work in a team.
