Position Title: Human Resources & Recruitment Officer 2
Position Type: Full Time
Location: Werribee, VIC
Line Manager: Operations Manager
Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000
Position Summary
The HR and Recruitment Officer leads the Infinity Support Services Australia's people and culture function to support the delivery of high-quality disability services. The role oversees end-to-end HR operations, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance across Infinity Group.
Working closely with leadership, the HR and Recruitment Manager, the incumbent will develop strategies to attract and retain a skilled, values-driven workforce, ensuring alignment with NDIS requirements and sector standards. The role also promotes an inclusive, positive workplace culture that supports staff wellbeing and enables the delivery of person-centred support.
Main duties and responsibilities of the position:
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, legislation, NDIS standards, and WHS.
- Support managers with employee relations, performance, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee onboarding, probation, reviews, and exit processes.
- Coordinate staff training, development, and wellbeing initiatives.
Monitor workforce data to support planning and decision-making.
Manage end-to-end recruitment from advertising to appointment.
- Build talent pipelines for key roles across the organisation.
- Oversee onboarding and compliance checks (NDIS, police, references).
- Partner with managers to identify workforce needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in HR and recruitment leadership, preferably in disability, community, or health services.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and NDIS workforce requirements.
- Experience managing teams and building organisational capability.
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, and inclusive workforce strategies.
