About the Role Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Ward Clerk to join our dynamic Operating Suite team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key frontline role, providing high-quality reception, clerical, and administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of a busy and vital department
As the first point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals, you will be a key contributor to a collaborative and patient-centred environment. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to support clinical teams will help promote seamless service delivery across the Operating Suite, the wider organisation, and with external providers
Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff at the frontline receptio
- n Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the Operating Suit
- e Maintain accurate data entry in the patient management system and related platform
- s Support the coordination of daily workflow to ensure effective service deliver

- l Clear and professional communication skills, with the confidence to escalate issues when require
- d Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and problem-solve in a fast-paced environmen
- t Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Opal and patient management systems is an advantag
- e Prior experience in a medical administration or hospital setting is highly desirabl
