Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and managing trades time cards
- Entering and maintaining data in Simpro CRM
- Answering calls and managing enquiries (8am–4pm)
- Scheduling service technicians and coordinating daily jobs
- Handling invoicing, quoting, and debt collection
- Reviewing supplier invoices and preparing them for our bookkeeper
- Liaising with energy retailers and clients regarding solar projects
- Supporting sales agents with leads, quotes, and customer follow-ups
- Providing general administrative support to the Director and wider team
You'll have full autonomy to manage your workload and contribute ideas to improve efficiency, communication, and customer experience.
About You
We're looking for someone who not only brings strong administrative skills but also fits in with our team culture of excellence, honesty, innovation, and a can-do attitude.
As the key link between our clients, trades, and management team, you'll help keep our solar and electrical operations running seamlessly — with professionalism and care in everything you do.
You'll bring:
- Excellent organizational skills – you stay on top of tasks, deadlines, and details, even when things get busy.
- Strong communication skills – professional and clear when dealing with trades, customers, suppliers, and energy retailers.
- Solar industry awareness – a genuine interest in renewable energy and understanding of how solar projects run from quote to completion.
- Experience with solar administration tasks – such as grid applications, retailer paperwork, and customer queries (preferred but not essential).
- Tech-savvy mindset – confident using CRMs like Simpro, Excel, and other digital tools.
- Attention to detail – from invoicing and data entry to compliance checks, accuracy is second nature to you.
- Customer-focused approach – you take pride in providing great service and clear communication.
- Problem-solving ability – when issues arise, you think ahead and find solutions quickly.
- Adaptability – comfortable managing multiple priorities across admin, accounts, scheduling, and customer support.
- Proactive attitude – you see what needs to be done and take action without waiting to be asked.
- Ownership and accountability – you take pride in your work and deliver results you're proud of.
- Team player energy – even while working remotely, you stay connected, positive, and supportive.
