The Role

The Strategy, Policy, and Industry (SP&I) Group is keen to explore opportunities for public servants from all backgrounds. EL 1 Strategic and International Policy Managers are accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex to very complex policy development, notably as it applies to a range of domestic and international developments and international engagement issues. They will also be responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise-level Defence and strategic policy initiatives and work within an integrated workforce.

While we offer a high degree of flexibility in the way we work, each position is located in Canberra. As such, successful applicants from outside Canberra would need to relocate to Canberra if successful.
