Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic scheduler practitioner to support MRO execution efforts. The successful candidate will be emersed in schedule best practices as part of a comprehensive training program. You will assist in developing planning artifacts, in schedule updates, and in team schedule development.

Please Note: This position is based at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD - Amberley Project Office as part of the Integrated Planning & Scheduling team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports program planning initiatives to ensure project alignment with strategic goals.
  • Support the development and maintenance of planning artifacts to support project execution.
  • Supports schedule status updates to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Deliver schedule execution reporting and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Execute schedule baseline updates (BCR) to reflect project changes.
  • Support complex schedule development efforts that align with program execution plans.
  • Familiarity with BDA directives and standards, ensuring any gaps in process are identified and remediation plans are initiated and tracked
  • Assist in the development and implement processes and policies to align with tool deployment

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in scheduling or program planning or a relevant degree
  • Experience in operating Project Scheduling in a commercial environment
  • Knowledge of project planning principles and techniques to achieve desired project outcome, including resource management
  • Knowledge of planning & scheduling theory, concepts and principles required to deliver project outcomes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Develops collaborative relationships in a team-based environment and builds rapport and trust among stakeholders
  • Prior experience with OPP & Cobra in the Defence Industry will be advantageous although not required.
  • Experience in MRO scheduling in a part 145-environment advantageous but not essential

  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance.
