Clemenger BBDO is looking for a Client Partner to join the Melbourne team. As Client Partner, you will take ownership and provide strategic oversight of our relationships with key clients. You will lead media strategy and planning, manage and develop your client team and their P&Ls, and drive business growth for both Clemenger BBDO through internal cross-selling and new business initiatives. Your role is pivotal in delivering outstanding client service while fostering strong partnerships and expanding revenue streams.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver innovative, ambitious, strategic, and commercially sound solutions that align client and agency values, collaborating closely with both internal teams and clients.
  • Lead and manage your team to build strong, trusted relationships with client counterparts, ensuring exceptional client service, retention, and growth.
  • Deeply understand clients' businesses, including their challenges, objectives, economic environment, markets, competitive landscape, and relevant partners. Know their business models and products inside out to inform innovative and tailored client plans.
  • Oversee the client commercial framework alongside senior account leadership, ensuring profitable business management.
  • Enhance client satisfaction to grow existing revenue streams and develop new opportunities.
  • Manage forecasting systems to accurately predict client spend and track progress against financial targets.
  • Translate broader agency strategies into actionable, innovative business plans that deliver tangible business value for clients.

  • Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape and current market trends.
  • Eager to learn and grow within the media industry, building trusted advisor relationships with senior client and industry stakeholders.
