Job Description

Marble & Ceramic Corp, a leading supplier of premium marble and ceramic products, is seeking a full-time dedicated and experienced Sales Assistant to join our team as soon as available. You will be responsible for helping clients select stone and tile products in person, over the phone, and online. This role also involves maintaining product displays and ensuring smooth day-to-day showroom and sales activities.

About the Job

Role: Sales Assistant

Location: In-Person, Banksmeadow, Sydney

Engagement: Full-time role

Start Date: As soon as available

Remuneration: Competitive and negotiable, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

· Provide advice and assistance to clients in selecting natural stone, tiles, and related products

· Prepare quotes, process orders and invoices

· Communicate with clients promptly and professionally in the showroom, over the phone, and via email

· Maintain and update product displays and the showroom's presentation

Essential Skills and Experiences

· Previous sales experience in the stone and tile industry (natural stone knowledge is a distinct advantage)

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced and high pressure environment

· A qualification or interest in interior design, landscaping, building, or a related industry is desirable but not essential.

· Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of applications and basic numeracy skills

· Familiarity with POS softwares (experience using Reckon Accounts or MYOB is desirable)
