Sketch Industries provides Home Modification Services within the Disability and Aged Care Sector for NDIS, Aged Care Home Care Packages and a variety of Government Funded Projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to appoint innovative and motivated members to our valued team.

We are looking to appoint an all-rounder who is able to fulfil the duties required.

Your main duties will include:

  1. Bathroom Modifications - Level Entry Shower

  2. Demolition of bathroom

  3. Construction of subframes
  4. Construction and installation of walls
  5. Window and door installation
  6. Tiling
  7. Final fit out of fixtures and fittings

Other duties may include:

  1. Installation of Balustrades - Timber and Steel
  2. Installation of Grab Rails
  3. Installation of Shower Tracks and Curtains
  4. Timber Ramps and Platform Steps
  5. Installation of Rubber Ramps
  6. Variety of Home Maintenance - doors, locks, plaster, tiling

Ideally you will:

  1. Have qualification/experience in the services we provide
  2. Have a High Standard of Workmanship
  3. Have exceptional customer service skills and a clear communicator
  4. Are able to read and interpret plans and scope of works
  5. Have a sound knowledge of Building Regulations
  6. Are able to work within a team or unsupervised
  7. Are able to use initiative, problem solve and look outside the square

To be considered for this role you will be required to possess:

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Own Tools of Trade (Carpenter/Handyperson)
  • Clear Police Check, Working with Childrens Check and NDIS Screening Check (will be arranged by Sketch Industries for successful applicant)
