Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Development Associate to join our office in Melbourne, Australia

The role

As an Associate, you will be closely involved in the development and construction of CIP's renewable energy projects in Australia such as onshore wind, battery, solar or hydro projects. You will form part of the team and will help with analysis, presentations and decision material, for example by analyzing budgets, risks, schedules, delivering reporting for Steering Committee meetings with internal and external owners. You will assist with implementing project management standards and project delivery model.  

Responsibilities will further consist of:

• Providing detailed analytics focusing on investment risk mitigation and value creation.
• Delivering high-quality performance and status reports to senior management.
• Collaborating closely with local companies and project partners to optimize project delivery.
• Analyzing project schedules, critical paths, and float assessments.
• Assisting with risk management plans and maintaining risk/opportunity registers.
• Ensuring project costs are tracked and analyzed to support key decisions.

You

We are looking for candidates who have completed a degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related fields, and possess 1-2 years of experience in project management, asset management, management consulting, or the renewable energy sector.

Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated individual who is thriving in a highly effective and innovative environment.

• Ability to navigate technical, commercial, and financial disciplines.
• Effective communication skills in both spoken and written English; skilled in making complex matters easier to understand.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly organized process management with a focus on task prioritization.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and senior management interactions
