About the role

As Payment Services Supervisor you will be responsible for leading the Payment Services team and the efficient, accurate, and compliant delivery of payment processing across council.

You will thrive on teamwork, collaboration and fostering strong relationships across your stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and successful payment processing.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and govern the end-to-end payment processing to council's suppliers
  • Provide strong governance and internal controls across payment activities
  • Lead and support the team and foster a high-performance culture
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high-quality service
  • Drive improvements in reporting and payment processes while ensuring compliance with legislative and financial requirements

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable
  • Strong systems knowledge, including ERP systems, payment platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

This is a permanent full time position, with a salary commencing at $102,718 plus 12.5% superannuation.
