Café Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Café supervisor that is passionate about hospitality and can lead our team and increase sales.

In this casual position (20+ hours per week), you will be 2nd in charge at the cafe working directly with the manager to ensure smooth operation of the cafe.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated management experience within the hospitality industry (3+ years’ experience essential)
- Strong barista experience
- Demonstrated management and communication skills
- Business development skills in the food/hospitality industry, particularly within cafes
- Previous experience in meeting KPI targets
- Strong customer service focus and ability to confidently interact with customers.
- Ability to streamline processes to increase delivery speed
- Ability to provide instructions and ensure staff are providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment and lead a team
- Problem solving skills and independent thinking
- Able to create a friendly and positive atmosphere for staff to work in and resolve any conflicts that may arise

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to take full control of cafe when manager is not present
- Assist manager in ensuring excellent customer service
- Barista all-rounder duties
- Cash register reconciliation
- Manage and lead fellow team members
- Be able to roster efficiently to meet labour cost targets without compromising service
- Stock control and ordering of stock
- Customer feedback response
- Opening & closing of the store
- Meet KPI targets

Our Café is open Monday - Friday 6:00am until 5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 7:00am until 1:00pm. If you are reliable, energetic, passionate, and conscientious who prioritises customer satisfaction, we would love to hear from you.

**Salary**: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
