Role Summary

Experienced Gardens, Grounds Crew Members Needed

Please read the job details carefully, as only candidates with relevant experience and strong leadership qualities will be considered. The Gardener role provides quality gardening services to the Sunnymeade gardens facility and its surrounding grounds. You'll be responsible for typical duties such as maintaining garden beds, lawn mowing, reticulation maintenance, pruning, pressure cleaning and more. In providing these services to the facility, you will play a role in bettering the lives of our residents through contributing towards the creation of a stunning, homely environment for them.

Key Requirements:

• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Confident in driving and reversing while towing a trailer.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of work.
• Must be able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• This work at times is a physically demanding role, requiring some fitness and endurance.

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing grounds and property maintenance, including but not limited to:

· Working on an established gardens

• Lawn mowing and whipper snipping.
• Hedge and Tree Trimming
• Blowing
• General cleaning

· Planting and maintaining garden beds and pot plants. Fertilising and aerating lawns. Trimming and pruning trees.

• Gardening, Weeding and Pruning
• Minor landscaping, mulching, and rubbish removal and more

· Fit and strong, happy to be out in all weathers.

This role is located at Sunnymeade Park Aged Care Community Caboolture. The role will be hired on a permanent part-time basis and work hours from Mon-Fri

FREE Lunch and morning tea provided.

All Tools and an on-site vehicle are provided as part of the role.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

If you are someone who has significant gardening experience and is a natural lover of the outdoors. Then please apply. Most important will be your preparedness to go above and beyond to best assist the facility. Ideally the successful candidate will possess a Certificate in Horticulture or a similar qualification, but this is not essential. To be successful in this role you will have had previous gardening experience and happy to work outdoors and have a current valid driving license.

Key selection criteria includes:

• Possess or willing to obtain an NDIS clearance.
• Possess rights to work in Australia.
• Possess a valid driver's licence.
