Grounds & Gardening Maintenance Team Member

Location: Manly, QLD

Pay: $27.46 – $35.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Type: Casual

We're looking for a reliable, experienced, and hardworking team member to join Ambush Property Maintenance — a busy and friendly family-run business based in Manly. You'll help maintain beautiful gardens and grounds across Brisbane, working both independently and as part of a small team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires strong fitness, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work.

Requirements:

  • Manual driver's licence (essential)
  • Experience towing and reversing with a trailer (required)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in professional lawn and garden maintenance
  • Confident with petrol-powered tools (whipper snipper, hedge trimmer, mower, blower, etc.)
  • Able to work efficiently and take initiative when working alone
  • Reliable, punctual, and respectful team player
  • English communication skills (required)

Duties include:

  • Lawn mowing, edging, and whipper snipping
  • Hedging, pruning, and tree trimming (under 5m)
  • Weeding, mulching, and minor landscaping
  • Blowing, raking, and debris removal
  • Rubbish and green waste removal
  • General garden and grounds cleaning
  • Occasional small handyman or maintenance tasks
