We are seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Manager specialising in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to lead the orchestration, execution, and optimisation of cross-channel marketing campaigns and customer journeys. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing customer engagement across lifecycle journeys, leveraging data, technology, and creativity to deliver personalised, scalable campaigns. In this leadership role, you will manage a small team, drive best practices in marketing automation, and champion the adoption of AEP.

Main focus areas


• Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing automation strategies leveraging AEP's capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer experience standards.


• Strategy and Leadership: Develop and lead business marketing automation strategy across lifecycle stages.


• Partner with cross-functional teams (Martech, Data, CX, Product, and Digital) to align automation initiatives with business goals.


• Mentor and guide junior team members and foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.


• Campaign Operations: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of automated campaigns and customer journeys (segmentation, personalisation, orchestration, testing, and reporting) using AEP and associated Martech tools.


• AEP Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert on AEP, ensuring the platform is effectively utilised and continuously optimised for campaign performance and customer engagement.


• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from Marketing, Data, Technology, and Compliance to design data-driven journeys and ensure marketing automation processes are efficient, scalable, and compliant.


• Measurement & Optimisation: Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and drive ongoing optimisation to improve ROI and customer outcomes.


• Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to marketing automation processes, workflows, and governance.


• Knowledge Sharing: Promote AEP best practices and mentor team members and stakeholders to uplift organisational capability.

Experience and qualifications required


• 6+ years' experience in marketing automation, campaign management, or Martech roles, with at least 2 years leading or mentoring a team.


• Hands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including AJO, CJA. Target RTCDP

Job specific capabilities required


• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalisation.


• Experience designing and executing cross-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push, web, etc.).


• Experience working with data teams and using analytics to drive decisions.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Passion for technology, customer experience, and continuous learning.


• Background in financial services or another regulated industry is advantageous
