JOB CODE, CGS-SE: Lead Structural Engineer Role: ($160,000-$220,000)

· years' Australian structural engineering experience.

· Lead teams of engineers and drafters.

· Manage structural design and delivery for large-scale building projects.

· Plan and allocate tasks; develop project management plans to meet time, cost and quality.

· Prepare and review concept and detailed designs, specifications and drawings; analyse structures for static and dynamic loads to verify strength, serviceability and stability.

· Implement and monitor QA procedures to ensure design and construction methods meet codes, project requirements and best practice.

· Experience in the design of temporary structures for shoring purposes, collaborating with geotechnical engineers and other stakeholders to deliver practical solutions (highly desired).

· Proven track record in working as an engineering consultant who can communicate professionally with clients providing confident and reliable advice.

· Experience in successfully leading a structural engineering team and managing multiple projects to deliver within deadlines.

· years' Australian façade engineering experience.

· Prepare and review structural/façade calculations where not provided by vendors or subcontractors.

· Strong command of façade weatherproofing principles.

· Review architectural documentation, develop waterproofing concepts, produce construction documents, and collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors and stakeholders across all phases.

· Proficient in structural analysis and design of aluminium, steel and timber façade systems.

· Lead a team of façade engineers: set design direction/sketches, allocate tasks, review and approve designs; prepare performance solution reports and façade specifications; drive urgent deliverables and help win projects.

JOB CODE, CGS-RE: Senior Remedial Engineer Role: ($100,000-$150,000)

· years' Australian remedial engineering experience.

· Forward-thinking engineer with strong technical depth across building pathology—façade, structure and waterproofing.

· Excellent materials engineering knowledge (concrete, masonry, metals, sealants/coatings, corrosion).

· Proficient with analysis and reporting tools for façade/structural assessment and design.

· Plan and conduct site inspections and condition assessments; report in line with CGS protocol.

· Diagnose façade, structural and waterproofing defects and develop practical remedial scopes.

· Advanced waterproofing expertise—materials science, application methods and detailing.

· Identify and resolve building waterproofing issues across all interfaces and systems.

· Proficient in using drafting software, including Revit and AutoCAD.

· Exceptional structural drafting skills; managing documentation and submission packages end-to-end.

JOB CODE, CGS-GE: Graduate Civil Structural Engineer: ($65,000-$100,000)

· Recent civil/structural graduate (or 0–2 years' experience) with solid grasp of mechanics, materials and design.

· Assist with concept and detailed design: calculations, sketches, and design notes under senior supervision.

· Produce and mark-up drawings; coordinate with drafting/BIM (basic Revit/CAD proficiency).

· Run analysis models (e.g., SpaceGass/ETABS/Strand7/Rapt) and prepare calculation packages.

· Apply relevant codes/standards (AS/NZS, NCC); maintain QA compliance and version control.

· Contribute to reports, specifications, schedules and project correspondence.

· Attend site inspections, gather data, respond to RFIs and track actions.

· Strong communicator with good time management; meets deadlines and asks the right questions.

Who We Are Looking for Relevant to Roles:

· Civil Engineering Degree/s from an Australian university.

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia.
• Registered Design Practitioner- Structural and façade (or eligible).

· Provide sketches and Bluebeam markups to guide and support the drafting team.

· Proficient and expert in all required software for structural design computation and analysis including Etabs, Spacegass, Structural toolkit, and strand 7.

• Excellent level of English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent report writing skills.
